Information Dissemination on Strengthened Senior High School (SSHS) Curriculum Conducted for Incoming Grade 11 Students
An information dissemination on the Strengthened Senior High School (SHS) Curriculum was successfully conducted today, March 10, 2026 at the Grade 10 Building of KNHS for incoming Grade 11 students. The activity aimed to orient students about the updated Senior High School curriculum as they prepare for the next stage of their academic journey. In addition, students were guided in understanding the opportunities offered by each track (Academic and Techpro) and how these choices can align with their interests, strengths, and future career plans. As part of the process, students were asked to accomplish an evaluation and implementation assessment form indicating the track they intend to pursue in SHS. The gathered responses will help the school assess students’ preferences and determine which elective subjects will be offered for the upcoming school year. The implementation assessment tool was administered by Ma’am Shiela Mae Araquil, Assistant School Principal II (ASP-II), and Sir Nelson Bautista, who facilitated the distribution and collection of the forms. The results of the assessment will serve as a guide for the school in planning relevant electives and ensuring that the strengthened SHS curriculum responds effectively to the needs and interests of the incoming Grade 11 students.#

“Dress for Your Future” Career Fiesta 2026: Young Professionals Shine in Grand Parade of Sectors
Grade 7 to Grade 12 students proudly showcased their dream professions during the much-anticipated “Dress for Your Future” Career Fiesta, a vibrant Parade of Young Professionals representing different business sectors. From Finance and Healthcare to Engineering, Education, Media, Agriculture, and the Creative Arts, students confidently embodied careers aligned with their aspirations, bringing each industry to life. The event featured sectoral presentations where learners highlighted diverse professions such as doctors, engineers, teachers, pilots, lawyers, IT specialists, environmental scientists, chefs, journalists, and many more. The activity aimed to inspire students to explore possible career paths and envision their future roles in society. To recognize outstanding creativity, confidence, and relevance of attire, winners were also announced. For the Students Category, the winners were Abdullah Batingkay and Hannah Shairene Albento. Meanwhile, for the Teachers Category, the winners were Ma’am Rubyjean Melegrito and Sir Marlon Cajandig. Beyond the students’ participation, teachers also surprised the school community by showcasing their “beyond the classroom” versions of themselves revealing professions they once dreamed of or other fields they are passionate about. Their participation added excitement and inspiration to the celebration. The program was fully supported by the School Head, Ma’am Acremah M. Balayanan, SP-I, who impressed everyone by dressing as a pilot from a Middle Eastern aviation company, symbolizing leadership that soars beyond limits. Faculty and staff also joined the activity, astonishing the community with their creativity and chosen professions. This meaningful activity was spearheaded by the Office of the Guidance Coordinator headed by Ma’am Maria Fe T. Diones, in collaboration with the school’s Guidance Advocate, Sir Fareed M. Guiapal. The event was smoothly and energetically hosted by Ma’am Collene Claire Albento, who guided the audience throughout the program. The Career Fiesta not only celebrated creativity and talent but also strengthened students’ awareness of future career opportunities, proving that when young minds dress for their future, they begin to walk confidently toward it. #
